Say no to child abuse

photocredit: Punch

Child abuse is on the rise again. This is something the government must deal with. This is something you must deal with. We can't continue seeing headlines like this:
Woman tortures five-year-old stepdaughter for bed-wetting
Policeman’s wife batters 10-year-old niece over N30
Common! We have to do something. I know it's kinda like the way we were brought up, but things change. Point is, we can't remain like this. We must emancipate ourselves from all forms of child abuse; neglect, physical abuse, sexual abuse, exploitation, and emotional abuse.
Child abuse is real. It is not some 'white dogma'. It's real. It can happen to blacks too. Yes we have a tougher skin, but it bleeds nonetheless. It's same pain, same torment, same agony, same salty tears, same trauma. It must stop! Don't raise a hand on a kid, don't neglect a kid, don't sexual abuse a kid, don't exploit a kid, don't emotional abuse a kid. Please. They are they future of tomorrow. Treat them kindly.
