The fake policeman that was caught at Constain roundabout (Iponri) confessed that he made N10,000 in two hours only! Guys, believe it or not, this is a job opening. N5000 per hour is not small money. Think how much can be made in a month. In this time and age when jobs are scarce, dawning a police shirt and extorting from motorists might be a bad but ingenious idea.
It appears he overdid it, and was reported by motorists and residents. This guy (Austin Okwuokei) bought the police shirt all the way from Edo State and came to Lagos to ply his trade. Such a sad end. The Commissioner of Police said more arrests will be made. Of course, there are many criminals out there disguising as policemen. Beware.
