More than 60 senior military officers have been retired/sacked by the Nigerian Army Council in relation to Dasuki's arms procurement scandal and their role in the 2015 general elections.
This looks more like revenge than justice. Some might think president Buhari is using his power as president in a dictatorship-like manner. But can he be blamed? I mean, if these officers are indeed guilty of mismanaging government funds then Buhari has all the right to act self-righteously.
The military these days don't look united. It appears politics continues to bite deep into the core of the military. Factions arise due to partisanship.
If a country threatens to divide, then the division starts from the military. This is a fact.

We must say no to division and hug bipartisanship.
